Model 1861 U.S. Percussion Rifle-Musket

Only 25,000 of these standard Model 1861 rifle-muskets were made.  The lock plate has the 1863 date to the rear of the lock with a standard eagle motif and U.S./NORWICH to the right of the hammer.  The barrel has been shortened by about 1" and a brass washer has been placed under the hammer.  If not for the modifications, the rifle would go for around $900 but you can hang this one on the wall for $650.00 plus shipping.
Price: $650.00 USD

.36 Calibur Boot Pistol

Last Line of Defense - .36 Caliber Boot Pistol

Nice little boot pistol in good condition. .36 Caliber 4.5" barrel with only slight surface rust. Each walnut grip has a piece of wood running the height of the grip. The hammer holds at the half cock position and falls when the trigger is pulled. I do not see a makers mark, but it is stamped 530 in front of the trigger.

Nice example of a weapon widely carried by Union and Confederate soldiers.

Price: $179.50 USD (Sold)

MISSISSIPPI SWORD BAYONET

Sword Bayonet dated 1861 for the Mississippi Rifle.

The steel blade, Dated 1861, is a full 25 inches in length and has the typical graying patina of a sword bayonet that has been used. There are scattered areas of darkening on the blade and a few nicks, as can be seen in the photos.

The brass hilt has a nice mellow color showing typical bumps and dings from usage and has serial number 3880 stamped in it. The locking spring & catch are present and work well.

Price: $248.95 USD (Sold)
